Joe & Brittani

While out on a casual Sunday boat ride, Joe popped the big question!  Brittani's day of surprises continued when they arrived back at the dock to find all of their friends and family at their favorite restaurant ready to celebrate the exciting news!  Joe has always had his eyes set on a perfect bayside spot in Ocean City where he knew one day he'd want to get married.  Brittani and Joe, along with coordination from Alison to the Altar, created a breathtaking beachy, rustic wedding with a modest garden feel.

The ceremony was short and sweet. Joe's childhood pastor officiated the vows in an intimate backyard setting.  Everyone had a chukle when the Reverend asked for the rings, the ring bearer proudly walked right under the couple's handss so he could give his box to the pastor.  His face was priceless when he opened the box and discovered it was empty!  Little did he know the best man was holding the rings.  It's those little things that the bride and groom will be sure to remember years down the road.

The reception was unique because it was held in Joe's grandparents backyard.  They set up so many little secret spots for people to hang out.  The newly weds could experience hanging out with a few friends by the fire pit and then walk around the corner to find 100 more close friends and family dancing on the dance floor!  Everyone was sure able to relax and enjoy the celebration.  Joe's family restaurant, Phillips Crab House in Ocean City, provided the best food and service.  From the shrimp towers to the crabcakes, everything was perfect!  Robin, from Baked Desserts in Berlin provided such an exquisite display that captured their theme with her "bites."  The bride and groom also had a small two-tiered cake which captured the beachy theme as well!  And it's not a party, until there's an ice luge!

Cheers to Brittani and Joe!  May you have a lifetime of holding hands with toes in the sand and family and friends by your side.
